THE BLOODY BUSH LEGACY

Contributed by steeleyes on Wednesday, 17th March 2004 @ 06:16:04 AM in AEST
Topic: political

The legacy of Bush:
America feared and despised by the world
After all the slaughter
All his bloody banners unfurled

America is more a target now
Than before September Eleven
That is what this man did
He created no special haven

Now Iraq is a recruiting ground
There was no al Qaeda before
But NOW there certainly is
And what they WANT is war

Bush killed 10,000 innocents
Their blood on the sand was spilt
And thousands want revenge
For those who bear the guilt

Bush and his irresponsible crew
Renewed the target for these men
They created a killing ground
And how long till we're hit again?

After Madrid, will we see London
In ruins with hundreds slain?
And how long until America
Once more feels the pain?

No one wants this terrorism
It is barbaric and it is ugly
But those round Bush are wrong
As they talk of Iraq so smugly

That land is a running sore
It’s pain is only beginning
It is just a sad illusion
To believe democracy is winning

But Bush got what he wanted
A stable supply of oil
And a marker in the sand
To make Muslim blood to boil

This thing will never be over
It has only just begun
And the bloody Bush legacy?
The symbol of a GUN

Another enthralling read.
Much appreciated, steel.
