What is wrong with me?

Hidden cuts and covered scars,
All of my bruises from the past,
Broken flesh reminders
that good things just don't last.
The knife is so impersonal,
cold steel blade connected with skin,
Piercing deeper time after time,
though I swear I won't do it again.
Burns, cuts, or too many pills,
just looking for a way to get out,
I want someone to listen to me,
but they can't understand what its about.
Of course I feel unwanted and alone,
can anyone really blame me?
I was left by so many people,
I don't know any other way to be.
It's not your fault I'm this way,
there is nothing anyone can do,
Just in case I don't make it,
I wanted to say I don't blame you.
This isn't my suicide note,
as much as just a helpless plea,
A cry for help to myself,
to figure out what is wrong with me.

I know too many that r crying the same thing...they're only plea seems to be... will someone just love me...
I've been there and done that... it's just no fun...
beautifully expressed... I can certainly relate to it

| Your answer is in your own words, it is how you were taught, being left by everyone who is supposed to love you, you learned the lessons well, as you too seem to leave the ones who love you. Change comes from within yourself, do unto others as you wish them to do unto you. Be loyal and honest. Good write, thanks for sharing. |
