She looked back at her childhood
And saw the many colors that surrounded it
The greens of jealousy and envy felt towards others
The purples of defeat and torment
The reds of hatred
And the sometimes yellows of happiness
The blues of sadness and sorrow
She saw the browns and grays of her childhood
And the blackness she felt thinking of it.
