THE BUSH FRAUD

Contributed by steeleyes on Tuesday, 16th March 2004 @ 10:54:40 AM in AEST
Topic: political

What a wonderful standing ovation
Except it was not
They thought they could fool you
Instead they were caught

They were all actors
Paid to applaud
The manipulator called Bush
Is a total fraud

“Winning” a fraudulent election
He waged a fraudulent war
Told lies to fool you
About what it was for

Now we see the truth
Starting to trickle on out
The CIA AND Bush
Lied to you, have no doubt

This administration can’t be trusted
To play it straight
They are totally dishonest
It is their major trait

They lied about Iraq
They lied about the threat
They lied about al Qaeda
All the lies they could get

This time take a good look
See the corruption lying there
Bush and his creeps deceive you
For the truth they don’t care

Read the new report on the CIA
By the Senators I.C.
The deception on Iraq
So very sleazy

But there is one guy
Who heads this mountain of sleaze
His name is Bush
And put America on its knees

The Bush Administration is being investigated for producing “ready made” television news packages in which actors were paid to pose as journalists, it emerged today.

“TV news releases” were sent to local stations to be run as part of main news programmes.

But Federal investigators have launched an investigation into whether the adverts were “propaganda”, amid allegations that they were an attempt to “manipulate the press”.

The “news” packages praised a new law, signed by the president in December, which the White House has said will make it easier for elderly American’s to obtain prescribed medicines.

In some of the features, there are pictures of Mr Bush receiving a standing ovation from a crowd as he signed the “Medicare” law.

The packages were produced by the Department of Health and Human Services, but news viewers would have no way of knowing they were watching a Government-produced story, rather than an independent news report.

Senators' Report Faults CIA on Iraq

'WASHINGTON -- A classified Senate investigative report says U.S. intelligence agencies turned vague, incomplete information into firm warnings about the threat posed by Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.

The report by the Senate Intelligence Committee raps CIA Director George Tenet and his top advisers at the National Intelligence Council for a prewar intelligence ''estimate'' that said Iraq possessed chemical and biological weapons, even though the intelligence behind that assertion was shaky.

I think your poem was well written, yet I don't agree with what you say. However this isn't a place to post my political beliefs vs yours. You did word your poem well and the metering was great.
