Blood Tears and Raindrops

Contributed by crying-crimson-tears on Tuesday, 16th March 2004 @ 09:32:20 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

she stands alone
on the hilltop
screaming.
to let her frustrations free.
she holds a dagger
in her hands.
crying to the skies
she asks God why.
why she suffered through
this unbareable pain
which imprisoned her
in darkness.
the clouds rolled in,
and lightening struck,
and lit up the sky
with a great white light.
as the heavy rain
drowned out her pleas
she was alone.
just her and her storm.
the wind ripped through her hair
and blew her tears away.
how she loved the rain.
no one sees you crying in the rain.
in complete sorrow
she slits her wrists
and watches her blood drain,
onto the muddy dust
beneath her feet.
in all it's glory
it's what she loves.
shades of claret
racing down her arms
seeping from fingertips
to ground.
she turns and
screams out one last time.
cursing this world.
cursing her life.
she raises her hands
with the dagger in tight grip
she releases a gasp,
a sigh of relief
as the silvery death
penetrates her heart.
her soul.
she has commited her wish
and died
her beautiful death.
