Whats missing

Contributed by Cobalt on Monday, 15th March 2004 @ 06:55:36 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I go to feel you there
like a mirror that shimmers
and shows you by my side.
You always came and went
just as would a beach tide.
Staring at you always
reminded me of looking at
the stars and moon, beautiful.
The soft touch of skin
and the gentleness of your lips to mine.
The purity in your eyes when
your lips whisper gently
'I love you'
and the way it brought a smile
and was a gentle breeze on my face.
How you always smiled when
I walked in from the rain
and it seemed to brighten
the world around you.
The way you only looked at me
and bound me in joy.
The little presents and
the way you snuck kisses.
The roses handed with a smile...
The letters written with love...
These are the things missed.
These are the things
that screamed she loved me.
These are the things I had.
That I ruined...
That I threw away...
Because I was too
blind to see
all the love
she had for me.
So now...
These are the things I miss...

Raven's Sin

This was so tender it touched my heart and I believe it would touch hers as well if she read it.

One of your best. Kie
