Crap EMO Girl Poem

Contributed by Pwei on Monday, 15th March 2004 @ 05:03:53 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

EMO Girl

She is the rebel queen, she loves Avril Lavigne and hates Cream.
I am the arty boy, I love orchestral Brian Eno and films by David Lynch.
She loves dogs that obey her every command, eats from her hands,
I love my cat who’s bemused by EMO girl but hates her loud bands.

She is anti-sport and oh how we fought when I wanted to see the match.
I was so distraught when she told her friends I was such an easy catch.
She loves being in control and I allowed her because I needed her.
I hated having to take orders but she revelled in it, it was like I was feeding her.

One day I shut her out, let her scream and shout, this time it’s going my way.
I am the evil one, told that to everyone, because I wouldn’t give her time of day.
She soon calmed down and we soon made amends, later back as good friends.
Now she’s bringing her albums round, my cat makes a meowing sound… help it’s happening again!

That was a really good poem! Forgive me if I sound surprised, but i really enjoyed it. It made me smile, it was intelligent, it had great allusions: after reading it i feel like you are one of the cutest boys in the whole world. Don't let her treat you like crap!
