I sat there,
thinking about my life,
and all the things I've been through,
I've see people dying,
being tourtred,
going insane...

What did they do to deserve that fate,
they were good and just,
fair and wise,
Some were even in love,

Is this world such a happy place to live,
Or is it just a lie

In this evil place,
where humans kill each other,
and babies die,
how can anyone be happy

But I remind myself of good times,
I've had friends and family,
laughing at each others mistakes,
sticking up for each other

The world isn't such a bad place,
It isn't perfect,
But then again,
What is?
