PEOPLE GET FUNNY WHEN YOU MESS WITH THEIR MONEY

Don't take your eyes off the ball,
keep both hands on your cash.
If the stockmarket falls,
you gotta pray it don't crash.
Just like bees get ill at ease when your messing with their honey.
The same as people get funny
when you mess with their money.
Sometimes life isn't fair,
that's a shame but still true.
tempers flare and their blame
they'll try and shift right on to you.
Folks get mad, start acting bad,
they're not glad when your in veiw.
When their stack starts looking slack,
you know they might attack you.
So when you sees bees a fussin
and a buzzin round that hive.
Back up quick,you can't trick
no fussy bee with shuck and jive.
And if your hands are sweet and sticky
when those angry bees arrive.
Turn and run, you'll still get stung,
but at least you'll be alive.
And don't stop running,
'cause those bees keep a coming.

Don't you be a dummy.
'Cause I can guarentees, that bees get quite displeased,
very ill at ease , when your messin with their honey.
Same as people get funny,when you mess with their money.

You know what? People do get funny when you mess with their money! Loved the title and the poem rang of truth. You have the gift of a story teller and you write descriptive poems. I like that.

Hmm very interesting poem. I really like the metophor of the bees and honey! Its true people are really possessive when it comes to money. Even families split up for money! Very well written poem! Great write!
