PITTY PARTY

Contributed by emystar on Monday, 15th March 2004 @ 01:52:24 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

We all have problems,
complaints, pains-n-ills.
.Here's my remedy
for everything to heal.

Let's throw a pitty party
get out of our systems, see?
Throw all self pitty away
cast it to the raging sea.

We must get beyond
our own agony's, pain.
Reach out to others
Help our neighbors in rain.

Free your soul agony's
let loose, look beyond you.
Comfort others along your way
Forget self to get past blue.

*dances* Pitty partay, pitty partay...wooo.

Yeah, I actually kinda feel better now :) This was a lovely poem, quite original and it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to act it out, it would definitely relieve people of their self-pity.

Great stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I to used to live in the poor bugger me world but pulled my shoe strings up and got outta there, took years to do once I set my mind to do it,took seconds. I am a Viet Nam Vet and a lot of the other blokes live in the world of 'poor bugger me' and they gloat,if they have nothing to complain about that complain about that.
There are problems in the veteran community but a lot is imaginery...
I still do have bad days but they are fewer these days when I stopped mixing with the quitters in the world and mix with the achievers. My mum and dad never had 2 pennies to rub together but were winners,I am the youngest of seven and we had a happy childhood.
