I THOUGHT AWHILE THE OTHER DAY
OF HOW OUR RELATIONSHIP HAS GROWN
AND I THOUGHT I HEARD YOU SAY
MY CHILD WHAT SEEDS HAVE YOU SOWN?

SO THEN I STARTED THINKING
MAYBE THERE IS SOMETHING THAT I‘VE OVERLOOKED
AND IN MY BELLY I BEGAN TO FEEL THIS SINKING
KNOWING LATELY I HAVEN’T BEEN IN YOUR BLESSED HOLY BOOK

SO WHEN I START TO THINK I’M GETTING CLOSE TO YOU
BEFORE I START TO BRAG AND BOAST
THERE IS A SELF-TEST I DO
AND I ALWAYS SEEM TO FIND, THAT I AM NOT EVEN CLOSE
