Because you’ll only bring back us
Don’t try to re-build what we had
Because hurricanes shake it about to crash upon rocks
You’ll only drag my love around
So don’t look into my eyes
Because we shouldn’t bring back us
You do not need me and I do not need you
But I can’t take my eyes off you
I just can’t take my eyes off you
I want to take my eyes of you
But my heart won’t let me take my eyes off you
You where never a hero in my sky
Or my knight in shinning armour
Don’t try to look inside my thoughts
Coz I can’t wear your love again
Coz hurricanes shake it about to crash upon rocks
But there’s still a little bit of your taste left in my mouth
There’s still a little bit of your adventures left in my heart
And there’s still a little bit of memory that recalls a few of your mannerisms
So don’t sit so close to me
Do you want to bring back us?

So that I can’t see what’s going on-

I know exactly how you felt when you wrote that. I'm recently experiencing something like it myself. Although, unlike you, I want him to "sit close to me" (as you put it). I wish you well, persia. Keep up the great artwork. Great poem

very good! years ago i used to know a girl who would sit outside my house for hours i think she's in a mental hospital now! understand completely.

I am literally grabbing the whole box of kleenex. I can only imagine what inspired this poem and it is fabulous beyond that really.
Can anyone say they haven't been in this particular situation? I think not.
What do you do when you have the answers but you can't stop your heart?
I suppose you compose a poem like this.
