Lettered ink just seems to fade,
Photographs only recall better days,
Parades just wait for rain
And dust just dreams of brooms
Inside your love,
Is a frostbitten hand,
Infected by your cold, cold heart,
And the way you wear your head
Ancestors can't change the future,
They only make the past link,
Days fade to sunset valleys,
And eyes just wait to blink
Money can't buy the happiness
It can only rent it for a short short time,
Rulers can't give you more or less,
They just measure this short short line
Inside your love,
Is a dusty void,
Swept away by your cold cold heart
And the way you wear your head

Like the above comment says, sad . . . but very, very good. And powerful, did I mention powerful? Every word of this drew forth emotion. Impressive indeed.
