My Last Poem

This will be my
last poem about you
for what was is not now
and never will be again

Leaving you was one
of the hardest things
I have ever had to do
but I feel better now

I only wish I knew then
what I know now
you never even loved me-
you were only leading me on

This was so sad yet I was really drawn to it. After reading it a couple of times I realized how much strength it took you to write these words down and to make the decision to go on. Loved this poem. Kie
