Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Today when I met you on the isle
and the distance was just a mile
you brought me back my smile
that I lost long ago.

I remember my first date
I remember the bad fate
I remember the sorrow and hate
when he left me and said go.

Now I truly believe
that I can be another Eve
and I hope you'll never leave
No you won't do it, I hope so.

My life is coming back once more
when you first knocked on my door
when we walked side by side on the shore
I love that feeling and won't let go.

Please don't be another fool
don't use me as a tool
don't let me cry again
I won't stand it and I won't walk again.
