I like the feel of my room
On a lazy Saturday noon
Chilling out to jazz
Away from weekdays’ stress
I like the feel of my satin sheets
Today it’s especially terrific
Catching up on my daydreams
While indulging in strawberry ice-cream
I like it that I’m commitment-free today
Just doing whatever my heart says
Aren’t Saturdays simply wonderful?
So much so
Because it’s Sunday tomorrow
