I don't know why I did it
It was a stupid and selfish act
I love you
I miss you
I miss your touch
Your familiar eyes
The soft comfort you bring
I miss the way you hold me in your arms,
Never wanting to let go
I welcomed the feeling of love
Only 'cause I knew
Somehow I knew, one day
You will return the feeling
I'm not sure now,
I've lost the trust you had in me
I can't eat, I can't sleep
I long to hear your voice
To feel your touch
The dreams I have of you
Are the only serenity that comes
I need you back
I can't live properly
Can't breath properly
I need your voice
To guide my tears
I lost my heart, I lost my soul
I lost you

| i can totally relate. my (now) ex and i recently broke up and sometimes i wonder if i can make it alone. i'm going to try, but i'm starting to doubt myself. good poem. |
