This day felt different,
From the time that we woke up,
We could feel your love around us,
And that you were watching over us.

That was a sad day for us,
But it must have been happy for you,
Because you walked up the stairs to heaven,
And went through the golden gates,
Now you are with our heavenly father,
And some day we will meet again.
