Emotion pulls me
I feel the weight of me
Bearing me down
Lifting me up
Wearing pain
Living my life.
Excuse my poignant glance
Do my lips tremble?
Keep the picture
See me
I’m living my life.
See me pause
Watch you
Watching me
There he is, that bag of bones
Where’s he off to?
He’s been there before already
Ah but now he knows what he’s got
And what’s missing…
