school life

Topic: AngryPoetry

The little girl cries in the corner,
The children all call her names,
They don’t think she thinks that they hate her,
They’re all just playing a game.

The popular people all laughing,
The unpopular ones all sad,
Popular don’t notice she’s crying,
Unpopular thinks that it’s bad.

Popular kids stick together,
Unpopular don’t trust a thing,
Bullies are bullies forever,
Victims come out as kings.

Learning to trust one-another,
Victims come out on top,
Victims are always winning,
But bullies will never stop.

How true of school life the bullies are always around. Sometimes one gets a chance to retaliate when one gets older. One of my school bullies came to me looking for work. I did not employ him.Have a good day now from bernard

Guess things are no different in England. My son is struggling with being bullied right now. It is a struggle for all of us. We don't want to intervene because we know he must learn to deal with this, but letting your children walk on their own is the hardest thing. Your poem gives me hope. My son will rise to the top in this, and so will we.
Thanks,
Stitch
