out upon the lake we float,
in a borrowed boat ?
sailing on the oceans blue,
do i even know you?
driving fast on highway nine,
did we stop to drink or dine?
flying high in the a jet,
with a man i just met !
to much tequila i did drink
look my dinners in the sink

A good example of the perils of excess. Some say everything in moderation. I guess that would include excess as well. So remember to much probably isn't too bad if it is only once in a blue moon . At the very least your cognizant of the fact. and working to asess the situation. By way of your wordcraft..
poetry as an intuitive pathway to understanding yourself and others is the gold of this pursuit. That it can entertain as well is just icing on the cake. |
