Plz daddy don't

Contributed by angelface on Thursday, 11th March 2004 @ 11:15:58 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

My name is Melissa, I am 3, I live with my daddy not knowing if he loves me.
He comes home at night with this really strong smell, then comes up to my room and I get wailed.
Uh-oh, shh, I hear him coming up the stairs, he says my name with an angry voice, now i'm scared.
I run to my closet, I sit, I hide, please God make the pain go away inside.
I sit here crying, he heard me I think, he opens the door with a great force, and pulls me out with anger.
"Please daddy no! I've been a good girl, I eat my vegetables, I put my toys away, Oh please daddy stop, just go away!"
My name is Melissa, I am 3, and last night my daddy murdered me.

I just got back from a sham contest so I'm jaded...It's hard to find real honest ones...Is yours real? If I could find one I'd enter myself but now I'm afraid. I did enter a war poetry contest...I think it's genuine....???? How do we know for sure. I'm gun shy now. $1200.00 shy ...
