Little Bird

Contributed by thumper on Thursday, 11th March 2004 @ 12:49:20 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Little bird
amongst the rest
Dressed in raiment
unlike the others
Elusive moves
this dance she dances
Always just apart
and beyond
Thier grasp
of her uniqueness

What wind driven way
this birdie's come
Struggling all the way
lost and floundering
Seeking a place
that is elusive
Never here,
Never there.
Just beyond
her grasp.

Seeking ever.
Finding never.

This is a charming write. You manage to portray a clear picture (a robin for me, personally) of a bird in confused emigration and corellate it with a sense of futility.
Vividly done.

I think this little bird is very strong inside, and will one day find her place in life ;o)

Outstanding write with great depth.
Very well done
Larry

sadly beautiful, i love your mind and poetry ive read so far, this one can be taken several ways, the uniqeness of ones own self should never fly with the rest but always strive to be an individual:) hugs n' love nessa
