Mr Cliche, love of my life,
Came out with lines,
That were twice as nice,
I took every word,
As so damn sincere,
Craved his attention,
Wanted him near.
It were as if,
He'd learnt every cheap line
Should've noticed the others,
Didn't give him the time,
To coil round their hearts,
With his soppy remarks
Now i'm left with his pic,
On my wall, full of darts.
Watch out for the men,
Recycling charms
That are all too well known,
They mean you much harm.
He seemed so loving,
And all I can say,
Is he was a cheating,
Punch-line repeating,
Foolish, Mr Cliche.
