Who am I that I should know
the secrets that the world beholds?
Who am I that I should see
eye to eye with you who stands before me?
Who am I that I should bear
all pain and suffering beyound my share?
Who am I that they should ask
about the things that has come to pass?
Who am I, I ask of Thee
oh why do you keep mimicking me?

who am I that I should care
to tend the curls of her baby hair?
Who am i that they should ask
to fill again their drinking glass?
Who am I that I should heed
to the stories my child does read?
who am i that I should sing
till fairy dust of sleep rolls in?
who am I, I question Thee
oh why dont you answer me?

Who am I that I should run
to tend the injuries of my son?
Who am I that I should give
the love and care to all those kids?
Who am I that I have been blessed
with childrens love of the best?
Who am I that I should feel
how this reflexion mimics me?
Who am I? You now ask of me
why I'm a Mother ... cant you see?
for I am you and You are me.
