Anger could be light out of learnings
Reactions from repetitive as we live
Our scorching sights of burning
Has singed my every limb
Watch the world become no more
Under surveillance and televised
Defenseless once again after war
Try peace on for size
Country once before now single flames
America sits and figures
where to rebuild what remains
Its service with a smile to deliver
Apples of conflict and we're the core
Rotten insides become our torch and goals
I myself are getting bored
Of these monarchy like bowls
Let us chop down our trees
And fall on to level grounds
Live once without stem or leaves
And become a force of pounds

This feels nicely contemporay -
'Apples of conflict and we're the core
Rotten insides become our torch and goals'
- yet retrospective - enjoyed reading it. |
