You'll never know how much your loved,
You've closed yourself off completely -
Each time I scratch the surface.....
To the side I'm shoved;
Once again, the past defeats me.
Your scared, and so we're both alone.
Will you ever find a way to believe in me?
If you could look into my eyes -
And see the depths of these feelings....
You wouldn't be able to bare it;
Knowing all this time -
Emotions like that existed...
And you weren't even aware of it.
Some people search for happiness,
And never find it;
Never even realize....
At some point it was there, but they denied it.
So devistatingly true and you'll never see...
If you'd give me half a chance,
I'd be all you'd ever need;
If only there was a way to break through,
If only you could believe....
My love would never forsake you.

It's a harsh reality of life... I've been there and done that... as probably most ppl have... very deep... and very true and very sad... cause in the end who winds up hurting who? Great write ... keep 'em comin'
