The devils eyes

Contributed by bear8807 on Tuesday, 9th March 2004 @ 06:28:55 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Have you ever rode on the wings of a beast?
Have you ever ridden on the back of a monster?
Or slept in the cave of a demon?
We all have that monster after us
the addictions, the lie's, the death, the remorse

The drunks and the druggies all say just one more
But they know that the beast that has their decaying bodies in its claws will never let go

the people that say just one more lie to cover up the last when deep inside they can't ever stop

The phsycotic killer that must kill one more innocent girl for his sick sadistic collection of souls

then there is the after thoughts, the remorse of whether or not they should of drank one last drink or smoked one last smoke
the remorse of whether they should have lied or killed one last soul

I'm sure everyone has felt the warmth of hell
or looked into the eyes of the devil.
