I watched you waste away
You thinned out, you starved yourself.
Every night for you I prayed
I thought that maybe I could help...
But then one day you died
You left me here all alone.
Over your body I did cry
As life went on, life went on...
Now I see your face
On the street and in my dreams.
You stand there in your black lace
Looking at me, or so it seems...
So many are like you
They are dying to be thin.
Knowing not what they do
Their pain goes on, it never ends...

I was anorexic before... but somehow I got out of it... through a mother's love. I'm sorry that you lost someone close to you from this horrible disease... *hugs*
