The bleachers bounce
The food is great
The bulls buck
The crowd cheers
The men drink
The women flirt
Cowboy falls
A mother's fear
Crowd gets quiet
The air is clear
Paramedics come
Cowboy leaves
Rodeo postponed
The bull is gone
The funeral's set
Mother Grieves
When cowboys die
We all mourn
The passing of brave men
Time will steal the pain
But we will always remember
As he watches over us from
Cowboy heaven
