It's been one year
Since the passing of her mother
A wonderful woman
So funny
And caring
But she was taken
From this world
Snatched from my friends arms
Whom I love so much
Never will her mother see
Her daughter get married
Or her daughters first child
Shes only 14
It doesn't seem right
Such a beautiful person
At such a young age
Should lose her own mother
My heart breaks for my friend
I cannot feel her pain
Though I'll always be there
With a shoulder to cry on
I'm so sorry Jess
For the way your lifes going
But it'll get better
I promise you that
But just don't forget
I'll always be here
This woman has passed
Into the life shadow
Leaving behind
Her poor hurting daughter
