I am trying to understand you,
But I am not sure that I will,
I am not sure that I want to.
Do you think that you are grown?
Will he care?
I guess you would have known.
I think that you are brave,
and I guess what you want.
But are you really sure you want to put it into a grave?
Send it away for ever?
would you regret?
Are you sure this is being clever?
Think of those moments you could share,
but are you really ready,
could you really bear?
I do not want to tell you right from wrong,
I just want to keep you steady,
I just want to keep you strong.
It is a physical and a mental push,
could you live with losing?
Would you live a life without a rush?
You can try to scream,
but this is real,
this is not a dream.
You saw a little heart beat,
maybe you saw some toes
and maybe saw some feet.
You do not know what you have got until it is gone,
That is a fact,
but I am sure you know it could be a special someone.
The special one that you have in you
is innocent
Can it really be true?
But a friend in need,
is a friend indeed.
I will support you,
whatever you do,
I just want you to be sure that you know what you are going into.
The only one it depends on,
are you.
I really hope you decide
the only right thing to do.

| You may help someone make an even more intelligent decision if you put the scripture references, concerning abortion, after your poem. Exod.21:22 Prov.6:16&17 Lev.20:1thru5 Jer.1:5 Luke1:41 & 2:21 Rom.9:11thru13. Good poem anyway - God Bless |
