thing i hold inside

The thing I hold inside
Is waiting for you
It needs to just be free
It will control me
Use my every muscle
Breathe my every breath
Think my every thought
To make you scream in pain
Because this thing I hold inside
Is waiting for you

I can’t stop it's angry claws
Scraping at the walls I call my inner skin
I want to let it win
All the anger it holds in

I can’t fight it anymore
I must release it now
Let it's mighty wings be free
This thing I hold inside
Wants to quench it's thirst
On the blood in your veins

Your body will be crushed under it's overpowering jaws
All your skin will shrivel with the pain of being watched
All your body will be gone but your mind will always stay
Your heart will finally stop it's pulsing in this day

It follows you into the depths of hell
Following you, Torturing you because even when you die
There is no safe haven for you
The light at the end of the tunnel has gone out
You see it in the shadows
You see it everywhere you wish you could just die
But your already dead and you’re already here to stay forever

You’ll be haunted in your dreams as you sleep
And by the thing out there because your in the darkness now
There is no after life this isn’t a life at all
You curl up inside afraid lying on the floor
You wish you could get away and find another door

You turn around to run but it still sees you there
There is no fighting against it
You must give in to it
Because this thing I hold inside
Is coming after you.
