adventures

Topic: Lifepoems

I had me an adventure
just the other day
a trip we took together
a time for us to play
up on a mountain top
we resteled in the snow
leaving all our cares
way down below
our minds were plenty empty
of the burdens of life
we had space for just two
a husband and his wife
laughter was on the agenda
and smiles all around
we loved this time together
with out a child sound
monday mornig now is here
and a mommy i must be
cuz let me tell you this
a sitter isnt free

The poetic construction is very good
-------------------------------------------
It seems to me in four week nips
Two should go away on trips
And love a love with tender lips,
This for free, I give you tip.

Restful times together away from snarling children are precious indeed....to most parents..he he he..I often have to play babysitter taking care of my nephews to my sister and my brother in law as they tried to go out on their own like you did here. But I would bet that once their childhood is over you will turn you heads around trying to find reasons for them to be close around...he he he
