Gental Shards of Fire

Topic: dedicatedpoems

The Darkness,
The soft Blackness,
Like velvet,
It warms around a flame,
Dancing rythmically,
It licks at the darkness
Enticing
Drawing closer
Drawing me closer
Drawing me to look within
Tempting me forward with it's soft heat
Seeming to bleed in to my body
I move closer
And with every step closer
The desire to take another increases
Drawing a desire to step within the flame
As I look deep within
Past the liquid gold
I see she stands there
The child of fire
The flames
They lap up over her body
Hands just extended
She presents it
Almost as if it where a frail flower
Within her hands a small but intense cherry red flame
It burns fiercely
It burns with her pain
A consuming fire
And the yellow flames that surround her
Like water they wash over her body
With her eyes drawing my gaze
Two enchanting mystical orbs of green fire
Burning with an ethereal light
They attract with a loving embrace
Instead of a fiery passion
But still flickering wickedly with suggestion
With a knowledge
They see through my mask
To where I hope to be seen
As if I stood naked before her
Her pain that cherry red fire
It pumps through her veins
And fuels her resolve to warm the blackness
She smiles
As her hair cascades down her back
It is her smile that seem to warm every sence in my body
And like a bonfire on a cold night
You have to fight to tear yourself away
And I dont want to turn
So I step closer
Closer with the knowledge that I wont be pushed away
I wont be judged
With one glance she has seen my soul and understood
As I understand
Her flame will not bend to the winds
As she will not bend the winds to her flame
She dances forward to where she wishes to go
Only dancing with those dancing in the same direction
Enfolded within her warm embrace
As my arms encircle her
I feel safe
Her eyes warm away the chill of loneliness
Her smile ignites smiles of others
With her body fueling thoughts of lust that burn within
As her embrace consumes me I feel a wam wetness
It slowly trickles down my cheeks
It drips from my eyes
Tears of fire
The drip down igniting my soul
Feeling her pain
But also her happiness and desire
Until I explode with emotion
Left staring I look out to the warm blackness
Outside this fiery embrace
Knowing forever
She is the child of the flame

I see destruction yet I feel as I read I feel the gentle emotion of love. One single cohesion. Quite a strange combination.
