disguising beauty

the most beautiful being you ever saw
all you need is one look in her eyes
you'd be drawn into her beauty
but you'd never hear her cries
she smiles during the day
but sheds her tears during the nights
lays curled up in the corner of her room
hiding from all the bright lights
her golden brown hair
along with her diamond eyes so blue
you couldn't help but simply stare
with her looks you couldn't argue
but the people can't see inside
they can't see what she tries to hide
they don't know how broken she is
her life is torn and spread out wide
her fear, her loneliness
is all that she can take
hoping that she can keep it together
wishing she wouldn't break
everyone can fake a little smile
everyone can hide their fears
so never think you know someone
unless you've seen their tears

That was beautifully written and yes, sad but also so true. |
