The Tears

The tears upon our faces show our pain
and yet the show that we are glad to be alive
the tears show our pride and love for this country
the tears show that we'll over come this
hardship facing our nation
the tears show the bravery of many
the tears may also show our fears
but once they fall together as one
they'll show our strength as one nation under the sun
