One black tear to fall upon a rose,
Three dead petals to call upon this darkened
prose.
Four cries for eternal assistance,
Five dark thoughts for internal grievance.
Six days away with living nightmares,
Seven nights awake with sleepless cares.
Only Eight single bandages to cover these,
Nine bleeding wounds on scrapped-up knees.
Ten cloudy skies to darken my day.
All of this for one single thing,
These Two hearts left bleeding
These Two lovers pulled apart,
With no where else to start.
