This is the life of a seventeen year old

I grew up and felt the love,
grown-ups know all to well.
So many feelings shatter my head,
as i try to place them
with a reason.
But they never stay always changing,
hurting my body in an effort
to scream out to the world around.
This is the life of the seventeen year old.
Trying to find my place,
amoung lonely dreams
and forgotten hopes.
Making mummy proud,
showing daddy your not weak.
The young ones learn so slowly
and i hate to find out
what tomorrow brings.
This is the life of a seventeen year old.

I would hate to be 17 again.Great poem and I understand what you are saying.
