I took into consideration this time...
That you may not always be there to save my hide.
I know I don't say thank you and I'm sorry as much as I should.
But let it be known it is you who I've learned to appreciate over time.
Time after time you've never let me down.
And every time I frown you make it a point to raise it to a smile.
I took into consideration this time...
That my time with you is over.
I know you extended your time with me for well over what I needed.
But let it be known you are the only reason I've suceeded.
Time after time you raised me past you shoulders and then some.
And every time you've done this you only make me realize,
How special I am to have you as my Mother.
