I sat at the table pondering over bills long overdue
And an image from the past reminded me of you
We had good times for a long time
But now you're just a thing in my past
Like an old shoe, I threw you out
When your faithfulness went south
So when I think you you, I try to think of what was good
I don't want to be bitter, even though I really should
I won't cry or shed a tear, just because you are not near
You're just another page in a book that
I have yet to fill.
I'm riding this tale to the very end.
This is not just some yarn that I'm going to spin
Don't feel sorry for me none because
I have just begun
Someone else is picking up where you left off.

You sound a little down sis...cheer up ...If this is what I think it is , your first marriage is past....but you are still married and that is what counts...don't try to compared me to you...you can't do it....I've survived and that is what counts too..sure I've had ups and downs but I'm still here to tell a thing or two...
I have two wonderful kids (time is out on that but so far that are too me anyway)I have two grandkids.....but look you are a grnadmotehr too and you do get to see your grandkids once in a while...doesn't it count....anyway...good write....
