Behold and look upon a new day,
Hold close to your heart a warm Sun's ray.
A little one begins the journey of life,
Everything is wonder and anxious delight.
Smiles and laughter are abundant with a refreshing resound,
Each morning holds true and her happiness abounds.
Gentle eyes peer through our human storm,
Calming the waves and mindless forms.
She has an effect not easily explained,
Bringing smiles and joy no worry sustains.
A reminder of a time we all once knew,
Now looked away forever held true.
Who is this little girl that has changed our lives?
She has captured our world and there she will reside.
You know her by many names but Meranda Ann will do,
But to Grandpa's little girl she will always be Ah-Gah-Boo.
