When do times really change, is it now or has it came?
I look around and wonder on.......life at the moment seems the same.
Is it me or have I missed happier times long gone by?
Smiles and cheer, excitement to fear, what need is there to cry?
Why would it matter in this world of gloom?
Do I even care if death were to loom?
Dreariness lives on in my constant thought,
I see no relief or reason that sought.
Yet I still persevere in adversity's wait!
Living day by day seeing the victory gate!
I hold fast to all that I cherish!
I stand tall and will never seek to perish!
