Burden Of Life

Dust flows through these veins,
Candy covered abandoned lanes.
Who needs this life,
When all it gives is pain.
Sandy beaches stained,
Clouded skies filled with rain.
Whats life worth,
When all it gives is pain.
Bloodshed battlefields gone quiet,
Bodies lay lifeless and silent,
Their lives all died in vain.
Why live this life,
When all it gives pain.
All on this battlefield,
Out among this firefight,
Hauling sword and shield,
Just to live one more night.
How much longer does it take,
To fix my one big mistake,
I just keep playing this little game,
I just keep dying over and over again,
Just to keep this life,
That only gives out pain...

Great poem... i understand :) well life is pain, if you didn't feel pain... you wouldn't be able to define the line between happiness and pain... music is inspiration, music always inspired me as it did you...
deep poem,
best luck & whatever good that comes with it |
