Lifepoems

tired,withdrawn,so very sleepy
creative juices dried up
ideas blocked,frozen
eyelids slowly drawing together
voices sounding fainter
everything now black
floating in a distant land
no deadlines,pressures,expectations
just time(plenty of it) to rest
to shut my eyes in solitude
feel conscious of my existence
experience every sensation
but alas! a sudden nudge
a stern warning
and i'm back in reality
returned to an obscure existence
where materialistic success is everything
and the perfect are tireless...
