The reflection in the mirror
whispers memories i try to forget,
i told the tears to wait for him,
for he is the only one who can hold them.
Yet my lonely tears flow down my face,
cutting away at my hope for tomorrow.
I see no chld eyes on the face i knew once,
everything is so different.
My body is only seventeen
but my mind and heart is that of seventy.
The way you held me close
when i took of my mask,
and the way you stayed with me
till i fell asleep forgetting the horror i know,
make the nights so lonely and cold
when your not by my side.
I know i'll see you again very soon
but till that time my relfection
will never smile,
cause lonely tears are the hardest to cry.

Sad Poem. Hope that your problems will soon vanish and that you will be sparkling again as a seventeen year old should. Have a good day now from bernard |

Very sad indeed, but I can see where ur coming from with it... reminds me of my own teenage years not so long ago... and even now sometimes... and too it reminds me of a tennager I know now... who's going thru quite alot in her young life... Hang in there and hold on for one more day... 'cause the best is yet to come...
