selfstruggles

Has fate conspired
behind my back to entangle my conscience with my sins?
This is my plight, my plague.
To swim in lies, to bathe in filth.
The banquet of what is without morals.
Choices and paths all set before my eyes,
ornamented with beautiful poison.
Flesh tempting me with it's sweet smell.
The scent cannot perish,
and it is never satisfied.
Sin-
The storm that covers the valley!

well said, Sin, the storm that covers the valley. Loved the rest of it as well. I will go to my hole and come out on your next instalments.
