Imagine being in a place where you can never leave
noone's stopping you from leaving
there isn't a reason to
but I have to go
get me out of here
just let me out
God follows me in my wake
watches what I am doing
where I am going
but always behind me
never beside me
I can't get out
let me go

Nice job. I think I understand it fairly well.
But you need to actually let go, and God (who is keeping near you) will catch you. I have prayed for strength to do or not do so many things, but I can never do them. Just pray to let go. let yourself fall. You'll be caught.
Did I get anywhere near the mark?

a sort of paranoid awkwardness with self and
fear of not being in control?
claustaphobia plays a part for me.

This poem called out to me. So many times I have locked myself away knowing I could get out but not wanting too. Enjoyed reading this one immensely. Kie |
