In life I don’t expect the best.
Sometimes I just pray that I’ll pass a test
My dad blames me for wrong things I do
I wish when he says, “I love you” I knew it was true.
My mom always notices the wrong things with me
Sometimes I wish she would just let me be!
Grades don’t matter to me at all
Because of my ‘rents my grades cant fall
My Sister and Brother listen to what I have to say
Just talking to them help me get through a day
I cant stand the way I get treated by my ‘rents
Not everything is said some are just hints
“I’m disappointed in you” Is what my mom and dad said
That hurt me, like a blow to my head.
My ‘rents, good grades are related a lot
The pressure put on me makes me feel like I was shot.
2 C+’s, big deal, one point away from a B
I work my butt off and that is what I want them to see
