Jet is the colour of alley juice
And mad dog wine.
It is a screwloose, schizzed out, psycho of a colour
A colour for cutting out paper dolls.
It is the colour of feeble-minded people with a low mental capacity
The colour of intense mental pain
Of tortured states of mind.
Jet is the colour of distress
Of unease
Of apprehension
Of psychic tension.
Jet is a state of confusion
Of disordered speech
Of hallucination and frenzy.
It is a colour for popping the clutch
And driving off in a brand new Cadillac.
Jet is the colour of hamburgers sizzling on an open grill.

Wow, Carl, I had no idea that Jet was that grand.
